Project FoundED Webinars
There are a lot of resources available out there for founders creating startups, but very few resources specifically for founders in the EdTech industry. The EdTech industry is different enough from other tech industries that we need our own set of resources to guide the development of successful EdTech. This repository is just that — Resources for founders looking to build impactful EdTech organizations.
The Three Most Important Questions for Finding Product-Sales Fit
This is a Project FoundED + Long Term Impact Fund hosted webinar for EdTech founders on Product-Sales fit.
At Long Term Impact, we believe many PreK-12 EdTech founders fail to find product-market fit because they neglect finding product-sales fit – they fail to make something that buyers want. But what are we supposed to be “finding” when we are finding product-sales fit? In this session, Daniel Jhin Yoo, Founder at Goalbook and Long Term Impact, will share the three most important questions that early stage founders should focus their sales activities toward to find product-sales fit – to make something buyers want.

The FTCs Latest COPPA Enforcement Push - Q&A
In May of this year, the FTC approved a Policy Statement on the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act. The President announced his support of the FTC decision that same day. The opening lines of the statement read: "The Federal Trade Commission (“Commission”) is committed to ensuring that education technology (“ed tech”) tools and their attendant benefits do not become an excuse to ignore critical privacy protections for children"
Protecting the privacy of children and ensuring the security of their personal information is a critical endeavor that the EdTech industry must get right. Please join Matthew Johnson - Attorney at Cooley - in a Q&A session.
In the Q&A, we will:
Talk through what COPPA is and how it might apply to you as an EdTech Founder
Detail the latest policy statement
The research that led to it
